Harley XL Sportster/FX Shovelhead Front Brake Cam  (1 1/2" Width, 64-72 & 71-72)

The Factory used two different brake cams on the XL Sportster.   The early version, #44264-54 (Type 1) was used from 1954-78 on the rear and from 1954-63 on the front.    Then, in 1964, the Factory introduced a second cam #44264-64 (Type 2), which was used on the front only, from 1964-72.   This is the Type 2 cam.   Specifically, it features a cam surface width of 1 1/2", which is correct for the later assemblies that featured a deeper drum and lining set.   Also correct for FX models '71-'72.

Lining retainer disc is still present, threads are straight, and shank is square.
