Harley Late Panhead/Shovelhead Kickstand Bracket, 2-Hole Style  (1958-84)

This is the late 2-hole style bracket used for '58-'84 models.  For the '37-'57 vintage, a "smooth" faced bracket was used. 

OEM status is unknown, but plates in this style generally have a stack of riveted plates.  This bracket is only riveted at the top of the bracket.  But the lower rest is constructed from a single, solid block that is welded to the body.  So if it is OEM, we suspect it is late Shovelhead.  

Fundamentals are very good, however, including a square back plate, square rivet, and square catch window with no mushrooming or deformation of the catch window sides.  Chrome is dated with light chips, fading, scratches, patina, and general finish wear.  Still, not bad looking.
