Harley FL/FLH/FLT Rear Master Cylinder, 1979-84  (OEM #41754-79A)

This master cylinder comes from a 1979-84 FLH brake plate assembly. 

Finish is chrome, but the OEM part number referenced generally indicates aluminum finish.  So we're not sure if this was plated by a previous user or if it came from the Factory this way.  If it came from the Factory this way, a slightly different part number would have been indicated. But the style and internal hardware set are otherwise exactly the same.

We completely disassembled the unit for review, and the reservoir and bore still look good.  Internal seals appear to be intact, but some stiffness is present on the cup seal face, so a complete cleaning and new rebuild kit should be assumed, prior to use.

Factory references show application for FL, FLH, and FLT models for the Shovelhead era.   It may also fit other models, but please do your own research.
