Genuine Harley Sportster Connecting Rod Bearing Set 1991-98 (OEM/NOS #24354-87A)

Factory references show this part number, but without the "A" designator, for late 1987-90.    The "A" designator first appears in 1991, and we are finding this part number in continuous use for all XL models to at least 1998.   We do not have Factory references, however, for the 1999 model year, and the part number does not appear in our 2000 model year references.    However, for 2000, the Factory only references the entire flywheels and connecting rod assembly, so it's possible this bearing set was still used for 1999 and later, but we can not confirm it, using our available references.   

As a secondary check, we reviewed V-Twin Manufacturing's web site, and they show this bearing set in continuous use, using the #24354-87A part number, from late 1987-present.    However, we encourage all builders to do their own research to verify proper fitment, using their own Factory references.  s.
