61" Knucklehead/Panhead Plumber Manifold, #428 401, 3 3/8" Width (OEM 1940-54)

Early plumber-type manifold for "large port" heads, 1940-'54.

This is a Type 2 manifold, and the cast construction indicates Sub-type 2 or possibly Sub-type 4.   Widths varied, depending on motor size, 61" or 74".  This manifold is correct for 61" models with a cross pipe section measuring 3 3/8", end-to-end (3 13/32" to be more precise.)  Some seal ring compression distortion, but this is fairly typical for the plumber-type manifolds.

Correct for 4-bolt Linkerts with a 1 1/2" bore..
